Dr. Prasanth K obtained his Masters in Horticulture from Kerala Agricultural University and PhD in Horticulture from ICAR- Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi in the year 2019. He has joined KAU as assistant professor on March 2019. His area of research focuses on genetic improvement of bitter gourd and bottle gourd for agromomic traits and resistance to biotic stresses.
