Sealed competitive tenders are invited from the firms for the Purchase of “Binocular and Monocular microscopes” to the College of Agriculture, Vellayani.

1. Binocular Microscope- Approximately 10 nos.

2. Monocular Microscope- Approximately 5 nos.

SPECIFICATIONS FOR BINOCULAR MICROSCOPE:

Binocular head, Integrated 6V 20 W halogen light illuminator, antifungal coated achromatic objectives iNEA 4x,10 x, 40 x (spring) and 100 x (oil and spring), paired wide field eyepieces iCWHK10x, F.N. 18 mm, (antifungal), Abbe condenser N.A.125 (oil immersion) with aperture iris diaphragm, binocular observation tube, universal power supply, (100 V to 240 V) for 6 V 20 W illuminator, built in illumination system manufactured by company of national or international repute (license number and country of manufacturer to be mentioned).

SPECIFICATIONS FOR MONOCULAR MICROSCOPE:

All metal rugged stand with individual coarse and fine focus drive with focus stop, maintenance free, ECOLED illumination including battery backup with regulating intensity control for 220 V /50 Hz , movable achromatic condenser 0.90 NA with aperture iris diaphragm, 115X 125 mm double plate mechanical stage with coaxial XY drive knobs , quadruple revolving nosepiece, achromatic objectives 4x, 10x, 40x ( spring) and 100x (oil and spring), 360° rotatable , 45° inclined monocular head with wide field eye piece 10 X / 18 lockable dust cover complete set packed in thermocole.
