Library, College of Agriculture Padannakkad conducted One day seminar on “Challenges and Opportunities of Research and Academic Writing” on 30 th September 2023. The programme was started at 10.00 AM. Dr. V P Ajithakumari, Programe Coordinator, Assistant Librarian, COA, Padannakkad, welcomed all the dignitaries and participants.
Dr. T Sajitha Rani, Dean, COA Padannakkad presided over the function and Dr. A T Francis, Prof & Chief Librarian, Amala Institute of Medical Sciences, Thrissur (Former University Librarian, KAU) inaugurated the program and delivered the Keynote address. Dr. Sainamole Kurian Professor, Dept. of Pathology and Dr. Nidheesh Assistant Professor, Dept. of Soil science were gave felicitation. The inaugural function ended with the Vote of thanks proposed by Smt. Anjali, K E, Professional Assistant, COA, Padannakkad. The resource persons Dr. A T Francis, Prof. & Chief Librarian, Amala Institute of Medical Sciences, Thrissur (Former University Librarian, KAU) and Dr. Nasirudheen., Assistant Librarian, Calicut University, Calicut, handled the sessions on Research tools and e-resources, Copy right issues in academic environment and Open publishing initiatives, Total 60 persons including Faculties, Research Scholars and PG students participated.
Feedback from Students and faculties was good. The session ended at 5.00pm.
