Livestock forms an integral part of integrated farming systems. However, the cost incurred for feed from external sources tends to increase the cost of production. There are several sources of feeds including non conventional ones that can be generated within integrated farming systems for maintaining the nutritional status of livestock and at the same time reduce the cost of production,thereby increasing profits from the system
