The Central Training Institute, Mannuthy under the Directorate of Extension, Kerala Agricultural University (KAU) organized a hybrid mode brainstorming session for Skill Development Programmes in association with Kerala Knowledge-Economy Mission (KKEM) to pool the ideas for the skill development programs of KAU. Sri.P. M. Riyas, Special officer, KKEM and Director of Kerala Start-Up Mission, gave an overview of the Mission and stressed the need for supporting knowledge workers to improve the state’s job prospects. Ms. Parvathy J, Programme Manager, KKEM, described the initiatives and activities of the Mission and explained how KKEM intends to collaborate with universities. Dr. Jayasree Krishnankutty M, Director of Extension, Kerala Agricultural University inaugurated the session and highlighted the scope and prospects of employability KAU can offer under this Mission. Fifty faculty members of KAU attended the session. Dr. Helen S, Professor and Head, CTI, coordinated the brainstorming session.
